It's time for The Human Race! This year, in honor of Vicky we would REALLY love to see everyone come out on Race Day and Walk for Change with us in honor of her legacy. As you know, this is also our single biggest fundraiser of the year, if you’re up for joining our fundraising team we would love to have your support!

We are embracing the theme “Walk for Change” because Balance was founded to change the classroom experience for the better, specifically for children with special needs. Each of you help us accomplish the Balance mission every day through your work in the classroom. In addition to direct services, Balance makes change through our Teacher Grant Program. Because of fundraisers like The Human Race, Balance is able to donate an average of $30,000 each year in supplies - from iPads to specialty therapeutic equipment - to local teachers and service providers like you. Our contributions help support the inclusion of our students in social and academic activities at school and help make up for inadequate special education budgets.

Want to get involved? Take a few minutes to register as a participant in the Human Race HERE, raise or pledge at least $40 (donations go live March 27th), and share the donation link on social media (make sure you tag us!). By doing this you are registered to Walk/Run in the event May 11th, will get a free event t-shirt on race day, and are eligible for the awesome prizes given by The Volunteer Center (more about this below). You are also eligible to earn the $1500 in CASH prizes that Balance will be giving its participants. Alternately you can click HERE if you would just like to donate.

Need help to participate? I AM HERE FOR YOU. Whether it's help registering you, motivating you, or straight up emailing your friends and families for you, I want to help. Don't hesitate to call or email.

With your help I know we can make this our most successful year yet and help continue Vicky's legacy of change for our students and classrooms. Our fundraising goal is $25,000.
